Phase 2 · Free, browser-local
Cookie consent controls for small websites
Add a consent banner to your own website without creating an account. The engine records choices in each visitor’s browser and activates only the optional scripts you explicitly mark for consent.
What is working now
- Accept all, reject optional and customize buttons, with no pre-ticked optional categories.
- Necessary, functional, analytics and marketing categories.
- Preference changes, local storage expiry, saved policy version and an easy-to-find reopen button.
- Explicitly gated external scripts, inline scripts and iframe embeds.
- Zero user accounts, zero tracking endpoints, zero recurring VPS jobs.
What is not included
- Not Google-certified; not IAB TCF or a Google Consent Mode implementation.
- No automatic pre-consent scanner, tag classifier, cookie deletion or third-party tracker removal.
- No durable server-side audit log or proof of consent for a business.
- No legal advice, legal-compliance guarantee or multi-language banner yet.
Three steps to integrate
- Generate a snippet with your site name, privacy page URL and policy version.
- Place the engine script early in your page’s head and change each optional vendor tag to inert markup using
type="text/plain"and a consent category. - Test in a clean browser, then verify no optional requests occur before permission, including through any tag managers and server-rendered integrations.
Read the integration documentation and scope and safety limitations before deploying it on production websites.
Using this banner does not meet Google’s certified CMP requirement for publishers serving personalized ads in the EEA, UK or Switzerland. Those publishers need a suitable Google-certified, TCF-integrated CMP.
